Our Team​
In this project we apply the mIssion of Hope for Orphan and Rural Development : "To empower orphans and vulnerable children and their households by providing the skills and tools they need to become self sustaining."
Hope for Orphans and Rural Development is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious local community based organization established in 2008 in Kamuli district, Uganda with the general objectives of improving the life of the rural communities through providing Advocacy and Psycho-social support, Education, Health, Food security and nutrition; increasing the rural community’s awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention; providing the necessary care and support for orphans and vulnerable children; reducing gender inequality through women empowerment and contributing its part to environmental protection.

Nzigu Simon
Founder and CEO at HORD organization, has Bachelor’s degrees in computer science.
,diploma in community development and
8 years of experience in community development, research, NGO, social responsibility, fundrising, volunteer management.
Mugoberezi Robinah
has a Diploma in accounting and finance, has over 20 years of exerience in the field of finance management, accountance, fundrising. She has 24 years experience working with charity organisations.
Mukasa Suzan
has experience in community development (worked on the campaign of Child Sacrifice in Uganda). Many years in office administration and management, knows Information and Systems Management, Library and Records Management. She has an in-born passion for community development.
Chris Baliboola
has Bachelor’s degrees in architectural design, has over three years experience in architecture, design. He works as an Architect Supervisor.
Namwase Penlope
has Bachelor’s degrees in public administration, has 3 years experience in administration, government, public service.
